What is zqc and The Z Quarter Circle?
Contrary to pop
ular belief, zqc does not stand for Zero Quality Consortium, it is short for Z Quarter Circle, my Grandfathers brand. The brand is registered with the Arizona Cattlemens Association. Yes, I do have a branding iron (as seen to the right) and it has been used on livestock. I share ownership of the Brand with my eldest brother.
What is Z Quarter Circle Labs?
Z Quarter Circle Labs is the back patio of my home. My efforts include; Doing things for Hypatia Media, making stamps for TuxPaint using the The Gimp and many other things, all done entirely with Free Software. I do use Mac OS X on occasion, but never for things that are Important 
Oh yah, I also do a little internet audio stream Thursday at 8pm Arizona time (links and shit to come)

Ah, me. The great
Technophile Luddite. I love making computers work; poking around in dark corners of Operating Systems, wibbling bits and pieces and generally mucking about in a digital sense. I am the proud father of 2 wonderful kids; Zachary(10) and Jocelyn(8). My wife, Therese, is my co-conspirator and wife (a fact which still wakes me at night wondering how in the hell a dufus like me got a lady like her).
